Mission
Youth Advocacy Council (YAC) is a program sponsored by the Townships
of Oak Park & River Forest, which aims to strengthen the voice
of youth in the area. Open to all 7th-8th grade and High School students,
YAC is designed to help kids take an active role in events and issues
in our villages. It is a great way to get involved, help with service
projects, and make your opinions known. YAC creates youth leadership
and involvement in issues that effect the lives of youth today.
YAC meets every Thursday from 7-8 p.m. at the Township Offices at:
105 S. Oak Park Ave.
(Just past South Blvd.)
