Meal Delivery Volunteers Needed
Senior Services seeks volunteers with a car to deliver meals to older adults, one morning per week for approximately one and a half hours.  For more information or details, please contact Madeline Pietryla, Senior Lunch Program Manager, at (708) 383-8060 ext. 134, or mpietryla@oakparktownship.org.

Money Management Program Volunteers Needed

The Senior Services Department is seeking volunteers for its Volunteer Money Management Program. General Assistance Volunteer Needed

The General Assistance Department of Oak Park Township is looking for a kind, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented volunteer to assist with the Holiday Food & Gift Basket program from mid-August to mid-December.  The volunteer responsibilities include working with an excel spreadsheet, providing good customer service, and completing intakes for the program.  The time commitment would be 2 or 3 hours a day for 3 days a week.  Applicants will be subject to a criminal background check.  Please contact April Dugal, (708) 383-8005, adugal@oakparktownship.org.


Energy Services Technicians Needed

Oak Park Township Senior Services seeks volunteers to assist with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).  Interested applicants must be computer literate with the ability to be able to successfully screen applicants for the required documentation and prepare applications online.  Some light file-keeping and data processing also required.  Two to three mornings a week desired, but hours can be adjusted to accommodate schedules.  New volunteers are required to attend a three day training and pass an exam in order to be certified. For more information, contact Oak Park Township Senior Services at (708) 383-8060.

Music Entertainment Artists Needed

Oak Park Township Senior Services seeks enthusiastic volunteers to perform a variety of music genres for the senior citizens who attend the Congregate Dining Program.  The Dining Program takes place Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in our Senior Services building, 130 S.
