Voter Registration

Oak Park Township makes community impact and resident involvement easier by offering voter registration services to all its residents at our Township Administration office.

Things to remember when registering:

  • You must be a U.S citizen
  • You must be 18 years old by election day.   Any 17 year old citizen who will turn 18 before November 4, 2014 can register to vote.  
  • Bring in two forms of identification. One ID must include your current address. 
  • Applications for handicapped or absentee voting are available and should be requested at least two weeks prior to the election.

10/7/2014    Last day to register to vote
10/8/2014    First day of grace period registration and voting
10/20/2014  First day of early voting
10/30/2014  Last day to request a mail ballot, including military and overseas voters
11/2/2014    Last day of early voting
11/3/2014    Last day of grace period registration and voting
11/3/2014    Last day voted mail ballots can be postmarked for acceptance by the Clerk’s office
11/4/2014    Election Day
 
For early voting, voters registered in suburban Cook County can cast an early ballot from October 20th through November 1st at Oak Park Village Hall, 123 Madison St.  Please see www.oak-park.us for more information.
