Voter Registration

Oak Park Township makes community impact and resident involvement easier by offering voter registration services to all its residents at our Township Administration office.

Things to remember when registering:

  • You must be a U.S citizen
  • You must be 18 years old by election day.   Any 17 year old citizen who will turn 18 before November 8, 2016 can register to vote.  
  • Bring in two forms of identification. One ID must include your current address. 
  • Applications for handicapped or absentee voting are available and should be requested at least two weeks prior to the election.

November 8th, 2016 Presidential Election
8/10/2016      First day to apply for a mail ballot
10/11/2016    Last day to register to vote
10/12/2016    First day of grade period registration and voting
10/24/2016    First day of early voting
11/3/2016      Last day to request a mail ballot, including military
                      and overseas voters
11/7/2016      Last day of early voting
11/7/2016      Last day of grace period registration and voting
11/8/2016      Last day mail ballots can be postmarked
11/8/2016      Election Day
