Mission

The mission of the Township Collector is to serve and represent the people of Oak Park by attending and participating in Township Board meetings, state and local conferences and association meetings.

Services

The Township Collector is an elected official of the Board of Trustees. The responsibility for collecting property taxes from homeowners for Township Collectors within Cook County has, for many years, been undertaken by the Cook County's Collector's Office. While the Collector has a non-voting role on the Township Board, the Collector attends Board meetings and participates in discussions on Board policy. In addition, the Collector often serves as the Township's at-large representative at conferences and association meetings.
