League of Women Voters of Oak Park and River Forest, extra registrars
are available to help with the increasing number of voters. Township
Senior Services staff members have also been deputized to register
the senior population they serve. Homebound and disabled citizens
can be registered in their homes.
Voter Registration
For future elections the Clerk urges any new residents of Oak Park,
residents who have moved within the Village, or persons who have just
celebrated their 18th birthday to register to vote at Town Hall, 105
S. Oak Park Avenue. Persons wanting to register need to bring two
forms of identification with their current address on at least one
of the forms.
Applications for handicapped or absentee voting are also available
at the Township Office, and should be requested at least two weeks
prior to the election. Questions regarding the status of your voter
registration can be answered by the staff of the Cook County Clerk's
